We would like to take this chance to explain that initially, the rotor was designed to turn in a single direction, potentially leading to uneven feeding from the dual food tray. To address this, we placed a label on the bowl rack to remind users to adjust the meal splitter to the right side for equal distribution. However, we acknowledge that this solution may not have been ideal. In response, we promptly engaged our tech team to enhance the feeder's functionality through a software upgrade. As a result, we released a new firmware update last to address this issue. With the latest firmware, the rotor can now turn in two directions, ensuring more even feeding when the dual mode is selected.
It is recommended that you set the Dual-Tray mode, then please try the following troubleshooting steps and let me know the results:
1. Adjust the meal splitter to the middle position for optimal performance.
2. When setting the feeding plan, please try to set the feeding plan even numbers (2/12, 4/12, 6/12, etc.) and avoid setting odd numbers (3/12, 5/12, etc.), so that the portions of the bowls on both sides can be evenly distributed to the greatest extent.
