What should I do I my Dockstream Fountain sounds loud (PLWF005, PLWF115, PLWF105)?

If the Dockstream Fountain sounds abnormal, please check the following:

Check the pump:
Disassemble the water pump rotor to check if the shaft is intact, and clean the pump to ensure optimal performance.

Check the assembly:

Reassemble the pump, water pipe, water tray, filter, filter lid, and spout step by step. Ensure that each part is properly aligned and fitted.

Note: Do not install the filter lid on the water tray in advance and ensure that there is no squeeze to the water pipe.

Check the water tray:

If the fountain makes a dropping sound, remove the fountain from the base, refill the water tray, and check if the water tray can store the water properly.

Note:
1. Normally the water tray can store the water for nearly 4 hours. If the water drains out in a few minute, the filter box was not attached to the stainless water tray properly.
2. The filter box (the circled part in the picture below)  is integrated with the water tray and it is not detachable. The sealing ring is built in at the junction of the filter box and the stainless steel water tray. Therefore, we do not recommend disassembling the filter box. It's recommended to only remove the filter lid and clean the filter box.

Check the water level:

Add water to the maximum water level line.
