When the feeder is powered only by batteries, the Wi-Fi function, play button, and reset button will be disabled to extend the working time, but the meal schedules will be carried out normally. The offline feeding log will be uploaded to the app after the feeder is online again.
3. When setting up feeding portions for two cats (feeder with the dual-bowl), do I double the recommended serving size in the manual or does the feeder account for two cats?
For the dual-bowl feeders, the portion size you set is divided between both bowls. So, if you set the feeder to dispense **half a cup** (1/2 cup), each bowl will receive about **1/4 cup**.
4. Is it possible to dispense a smaller portion than the current minimum 1/12 cup (~20ml) through a firmware update or other modification? The current 1/12 cup is too large.
The minimum portion size is determined by the physical design of the feeder's rotor size, which controls the amount of food dispensed per rotation. Firmware updates cannot alter this mechanical limitation.
5. If we travel to another country, does the feeder follow the time zone of our location?
The feeder follows the time zone based on where it was originally set up and connected to Wi-Fi. Regardless of the user's current location or the location of their mobile phone, the device will always follow the time zone of the region it was last connected to.

You can choose to subscribe to our video cloud subscription. The Plus version is US$119.99 per month, and you can view and download 30 days of feeding events and motion detection video storage anywhere.
