1. Is this model BPA-free?
The water fountain is made of high-quality BPA-free plastic and it will be safe for pets to use.
2. Can I wash the water fountain in a dishwasher?
No.
Please note that the plastic components of the fountain are made from ABS material, which can deform when exposed to high temperatures ranging from 93°C to 118°C. Therefore, we advise customers against placing these plastic components in a dishwasher, as this may lead to deformation issues.
3. How long does it take to be fully charged?
Normally, it takes 7-8 hours to fully charge when not in use and 8-9 hours if used while charging.
4. How long will the battery last?
As per laboratory tests, the battery can last up to 30 days when utilizing its reserve power and initiating water flow 48 times a day. Which is based on the use of one cat. However, if it is used by more than one cat or it is placed in areas where water flow exceeds 48 times a day, the battery life may be shorter than 30 days.
5. Can I purchase the battery separately?
Please note that the lithium battery, with a capacity of 5200mAh, is built into the charging base and cannot be removed or replaced. However, it is rechargeable using the included power cable and adapter.
If you need to purchase a replacement battery tank base, please contact our customer support for assistance.
6. Can it be used outdoors?
It is not recommended to use outdoors.
1. Direct sunlight will reduce the lifespan of plastic products.
2. There is more dust in outdoor air, which will shorten the lifespan of the filter.
7. Where is my power cord, user manual, and the other parts of the water fountain?
The replacement parts and the user manual are inside the water tank, please kindly check the water tank.
8. How often should I refill the water?
It depends on your pet family. For households with 2 or more cats, you might need to refill the water every other day.
9. How often should I change the filters?
We recommend replacing the filters every two weeks to ensure your pet always has access to fresh water if used by one cat. For households with multiple pets, more frequent replacement is recommended.
