If your Air Smart Feeder (AF108) is unable to upgrade the firmware, follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue:
1. Check the Wi-Fi
Ensure that your Wi-Fi operates on only a 2.4G band, as the feeder is compatible with this frequency.
2. Change the Position of the Feeder and Restart Your Router
Place the feeder next to the router to ensure the Wi-Fi signal is strong. Restarting the router can help clear its cache and improve connectivity.
3. Plug in the Power Cord
Make sure the power cord is plugged in. A stable power supply is important for firmware upgrades to proceed correctly.
4. Restart the App
Exit the app and force-stop it on your phone. Afterward, re-enter the app and access the feeder to check if you can update the firmware.
5. Change Wi-Fi
If the firmware still cannot be updated, connect both your phone and the feeder to another 2.4G hotspot to test the results.
